About the Job
This is a sensitive position responsible for providing critical healthcare services to individuals and communities in LaBelle and Moore Haven. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Community Health Nursing Director - SES and will be expected to maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Family Planning, Sexually Transmitted Infection care, and Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV
- Assess, evaluate, and manage patients in accordance with current APRN professional practice standards
- Document all observations and actions accurately and in accordance with program guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Certified as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in accordance with Florida Statute 464
- Specialization as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
