Government Operations Consultant II – 70018661
This advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in Education Services.
Salary: $44,060.11 - $55,751.68 Annual Range
SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews purchase requisitions (PRs) in MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) to ensure they are properly coded, contains appropriate information, and includes sufficient justification.
- Calculates financial information for Contract Review Sheets for contracts and amendments. Reviews expenditure information posted in the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System (FACTS).
- Runs Information Warehouse downloads of monthly transaction detail. Monitors, analyzes, and interprets FLAIR financial data for reporting and monthly/quarterly reconciliation of Budget Tracker reports. Posts expenditure data to SharePoint spreadsheets.
- Maintains necessary spreadsheets to accurately track costs associated with special projects, contracts, purchases, and copiers.
- Assists Central Office and field staff with questions related to purchasing and accounting.
- Performs other duties and special projects as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) or more years of procurement, accounting or budgeting experience. Postsecondary education may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
- MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) experience.
- Experience in researching, interpreting/analyzing and compiling data for report purposes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- FLAIR experience.
