Position Overview
The Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Forensic Services (DFS) is seeking a motivated individual to fill a Public Service Administrator position. This individual will be the Chief of Staff of the DFS Deputy Director’s Office. This leader will provide direct supervision to the division’s administrative support staff; oversee division level and agency-level projects; and coordinate responses for a variety of requests about departmental policies, administrative plans, and legislative proposals. The ideal candidate should be efficient, organized and a good communicator. This position will work with various staff in the Deputy Director’s office and serves as liaison to the forensic science laboratories, other divisions, other state agencies, and criminal justice agencies.
