Departmental Analyst 9-P11
The Social Determinates of Health (SDOH) Analyst serves as an entry-level professional supporting the advancement of SDOH Strategy. This position assists with priority area projects, focusing on grant management and the implementation and evaluation of SDOH Hubs. This position helps administer grants by ensuring compliance with funding requirements, supporting alignment with strategic objectives, and assisting in the
preparation of reports.
The analyst works collaboratively with stakeholders to support the execution of SDOH Hub activities, ensuring they align with community needs and priority areas effectively. Responsibilities include assisting with data collection and analysis to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of SDOH Hubs, identifying potential areas for improvement, and contributing to evidence-based decision-making.

Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
This position is being filled as a limited term assignment with the potential to become permanent, but it's never guaranteed.
The physical location of this position is 333 S. Grand Ave., Lansing MI 48933. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
- A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
- A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
