Jobs at this level prepare detailed forest management plans for landowners; mark timber; assist in locating timber markets; and supervise prescribed burning activities. Jobs at this level also plan and administer safety programs, inspect and direct maintenance of fire-fighting equipment, and perform fire detection and suppression activities.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 0-2 years of experience and licensure as a Registered Forester.
