The vision of the School Counseling Staff is to work with schools to help ensure that each school has a fully implemented comprehensive school counseling program that supports the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students through the delivery of counseling curriculum, individual student planning, and responsive services. The program is managed and evaluated through system support activities that also support the on-going mission of the school.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of Missouri Connections and manage the platform statewide.
- Coordinate and facilitate the Missouri Connections Advisory Council.
- Collaborate with the Department of Economic Development and facilitate updates regarding Missouri Connections postsecondary site.
- Collaborate with MERIC regarding data for Missouri Connections platform.
- Collaborate with the Missouri Connections state trainer regarding materials and training.
- Monitor the Missouri Connections trainer and user functions and provide data as requested.
- Answer calls and attend meetings regarding Bullying in schools.
- Assist with the development, implementation and enhancement of comprehensive school counseling programs in Missouri’s schools and development of appropriate materials for school districts.

All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, school counseling, education, mental health, human services, student development, child development, or related field required.
- Experience with data concepts and date-driven decision making.
