The MO HealthNet Division has an opening for a Project Coordinator within the Office of Transformation located in Cole County.
Semi-monthly salary: $3,369.97
Job Location: This position is located at the Howerton State Office Building; 615 Howerton Court, Jefferson City, MO.

This unclassified Special Assistant Professional is responsible for tracking and assisting in the advancement of several Transformation initiatives, helping Missouri Medicaid program leaders to implement change within their different departments.

Normal Duties Include
- Research and analyze new and innovative healthcare policies and practices, oversee and monitor contractors’ work, legislation and policy decisions, and internal and external stakeholder engagement relative to each specific Transformation initiative.
- Lead successful complex projects with multiple ongoing initiatives.
- Have a significant role in the Transformation of Rural Community Health (ToRCH) pilot which focuses on looking upstream at poor health outcomes within rural Missouri communities.
- Plan and manage project activities in accordance with industry best practices and theProject Management Body of Knowledge Guide (PMBOK); Review contract deliverables; Manage project budgets;Develop and/or review key project artifacts including project charters, communication plans, project schedules,accountabilities,andimplementationplans.
- Occasionally travel to attend project events and meetings.
- Participate in public speaking events.
- Provide project data analytics as needed.
- Minimum of five years of project management experience (Substitutions may be allowed).
- Background in healthcare, healthcare reimbursement/finance, public health, or Missouri Medicaid and the complexities between urban and rural healthcare experiences.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communicationskills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders from all levels withinmultiple publicandprivateorganizations.
- Demonstrated success leading complex projects.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, shift priorities on a regular basis, and work for several people. Must be well organized.
- Ability to achieve success without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree (Substitutions may be allowed)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with Microsoft Office (including Project) and Tableau
- Familiarity with Missouri state government structure – executive branch (departments), legislative branch (process), etc.
