Why does the job exist?
This is the operational level of the Human Resource classification series and provides HR support. This position functions as a key resource to meet needs of CYFD HR, making recommendations on complex management programs and providing guidance based on organizational needs and best practices.
How does it get done?
20% SHARE Recruitment - Review and process Job Order requests to create job postings for vacancies in the NM State Personnel Website.
15% Audit the hires and transfers through SHARE ensuring all information entered is correct: verifying job data, time reporter data, confirming work-group and task-group, verify bargaining unit and FLSA status, deductions, direct deposits, W-2's and verify first payroll cycle.
15% Audit and manage the hire packets to ensure all documents needed are received and create an electronic file for the personnel and position file.
15% Complete and submit the PERA forms and beneficiary forms.
20% Coordinate and attend recruitment events such as Rapid Hires and Job Fairs.
10% Assist in entering basic OL changes for agency wide re-orgs as needed.
5% Other HR duties as assigned based on the business needs

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any field. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education.
Employment Requirements
Must possess a current and valid Driver's License. Pre-employment background investigation is required and conditional pending results.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual / Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
