The Management Analyst III / Administrative Enforcement Unit Analyst will:
Work as a part of the Administrative Enforcement Unit (AEU) within the Health Care Authority (HCA) Child Support Services Division (CSSD);
Assist with the administrative enforcement of support orders through the use of tax interceptions, license suspensions, passport denial, lottery liens, bank account freezes through data matches with financial institutions, property liens, credit reporting, receipt of lump sum payments, and other administrative enforcement tools used by CSSD;
How does it get done?
The Management Analyst III / Administrative Enforcement Unit Analyst is responsible for:
Becoming proficient in enforcing child support orders through tax interceptions, license suspensions, passport denial, lottery liens, bank account freezes through data matches with financial institutions, property liens, credit reporting, receipt of lump sum payments, and any other administrative enforcement tools used by CSSD;
Assisting in processing possible tax fraud as it pertains to CSSD;
Reviewing, researching, and applying federal and state laws, regulations, and statutes case laws, and CSSD policy and procedures;
Preparing Summary of Evidence (SOE) packets for Fair Hearings;
Scheduling and participating in Agency Review conferences (ARCs) to review and ensure the appropriate action was taken ;
Attending and providing testimony in Fair Hearings;
Working on special projects, outreach, and other duties as assigned.

This position supports Child Support Services Division staff, Human Services Department staff, other state and federal agencies, and ultimately the families of New Mexico.

Ideal Candidate
This position supports Child Support Services Division (CSSD) Staff, Health Care Authority (HCA) Staff, other state and federal agencies, and ultimately the families of New Mexico.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Employment is subject to a pre-employment criminal history background investigation and is conditional pending results.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Possible exposure to irate clientele. Some statewide travel may be required. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Must have own mode of transportation for work-related travel.
