  • Why does the job exist?

    The Office Clerk General - III will :

  • Provide specialized high-level clerical support to the Department (CASA Scanning center) multiple agencies in our mail room.
  • How does it get done?

    The Office Clerk General - III is responsible for :

  • Data Entry and record keeping and other computer software (Aspen, Perceptive Content, MAVRO);
  • Linking documents using perceptive content;
  • Picking up mail from the post office;
  • Live mail : Sorting and document preparation, mail count, scanning into data base;
  • Return mail : Sort and doc prep and scanning into data base;
  • Making necessary Photocopies;
  • Preparing Outgoing mail.
  • Who are the customers?

  • The Health Care Authority (HCA) - Income Support Division (ISD).
  • Ideal Candidate

    The Ideal Candidate has :

  • Clerical experience :
  • Computer knowledge;
  • Experience with MAVRO;
  • Experience with OPEX Machines;
  • Experience with Aspen;
  • Experience in Data entry.
  • Minimum Qualification

    High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) months experience in office administration andor customer service. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field andor direct experience in this occupation totaling three (3) months may substitute for the required experience.

    Employment Requirements

    Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

    Employment is subject to a pre-employment criminal history background investigation and is conditional pending results.

    Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate

    Working Conditions

    Office setting, exposure to VDT, extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some travel may be required.

    Bargaining Unit Position

    This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and all terms / conditions of that agreement apply and must be adhered to.

    Salary : $35,181 - $52,772
