Anticipated Vacancy - March 1, 2025
Position serves as an Administrative Specialist I in the Elizabethtown Maintenance Office (Bladen County). Employee in this position will provide office support assistance to multiple staff. Duties will include typing forms, correspondence, computer data entry, filing, create, and maintain miscellaneous reports in Excel and assist public with inquiries/problems by telephone and personal office contact. Data entry and transfer of weekly payroll utilizing SAP/BEACON operating systems. Â Process monthly reports in SAP/Excel and other general office duties as required.
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and (2) two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Customer service experience, including resolving customer issues.
- Experience with Microsoft Office using programs such as Access, Word, and Excel.
- Experience completing and/or maintaining records and reports.
- Experience interpreting and/or explaining policies, procedures, and laws.
- Experience with letter writing, using correct spelling, punctuation, and proofreading.
