What you’ll do at OhioMHAS:
Ohio Pharmacy Services (OPS) is looking for an individual to provide supervision of assigned staff within Customer Service area and warehouse. Someone who can plan, direct and coordinate staff activities and provides guidance for all functions including supporting departments (Ex. Transportation).
Duties include but not limited to:
- Exercise both administrative direction & direct/indirect supervision to accomplish day-to-day organizational goals.
- Shipping, receiving, for statewide distribution to approximately 200 customers.
- Responsible for conforming to very technical specifications of pharmaceuticals with Federal Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) & contract guidelines.
- Supervise assigned staff evaluates performance, provides training, handles disciplinary issues, recommends approval/disapproval of leave requests, conducts staff meetings.
- Assist interview team when vacancies occur within OPSC, makes recommendation for hiring staff; manages staff & products based on daily tracking report.
This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units, with a pay range of 14 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (Flexible Schedule).
