Building/Grounds Supervisor
Location: Steinaker and Red Fleet State Parks, near Vernal, UT Work Schedule: Full-time, with occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

Steinaker and Red Fleet State Parks are hiring a Building/Grounds Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of park facilities and systems. This position is vital in ensuring the parks remain safe, functional, and welcoming for all visitors. From managing water and septic systems to maintaining campgrounds and restrooms, this role offers variety and challenges for individuals passionate about hands-on work and problem-solving.
- Maintain and repair all park buildings and grounds, including campgrounds, picnic areas, restrooms, and roadways.
- Oversee boat dock maintenance and repair to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Manage culinary and secondary water systems, as well as waste and wastewater systems.
- Supervise seasonal employees and oversee the park maintenance program.
- Operate and repair park equipment, ensuring it remains in good working condition.
- Plan and manage projects, including estimating costs and coordinating resources.
- Experience supervising staff, including task delegation and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge and experience in general construction, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Understanding of the principles and practices of facility operations, construction, and maintenance.
- General mechanical knowledge, including the operation and repair of equipment.
- Knowledge and experience with complex water and sewer systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
