Description
This position may be eligible for telework hybrid and a flexible work schedule. In-office work is required at a minimum of 3-4 days per week depending on workload needs.
The Department of Corrections (DOC) has a permanent, full time Correctional Records Supervisor opening available in the Warrants Unit. Position DB52 is located at DOC Headquarters in Tumwater, WA.
The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, however this position will supervise staff who work outside normal business hours (swing shift and graveyard, with varying days off). Adjustments to working hours will be required to successfully perform the duties required of this position and the core working hours may be subject to change due to coverage and business/operational needs for 24/7 operations. Qualifications
- You are requesting a transfer under Article 4.7 of the WFSE CBA.
- You are a permanent DOC employee.
- You currently hold permanent status in the class being recruited for in this job posting.
- You are currently in a position represented by WFSE.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent

Five (5) years of experience maintaining or processing records, including but not limited to: correctional records, medical/dental records, legal records, property records, administrative records, clerical records, etc.
- College-level course work in criminal justice, business administration, accounting, social science or a related field will substitute, year for year, for up to two (2) years of experience.
- Six (6) months of experience working within the Offender Management Network Information (OMNI) program.
- Intermediate Level Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Programs- Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and problem solve under stressful or adverse situations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
