The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has an exciting opportunity within our South Puget Sound Region as an Education and Enforcement Warden, Natural Resource Specialist 2 (NRS2). Are you an avid outdoor recreation enthusiast who enjoys interacting with members of the public in an education and enforcement capacity? Do you have an interest in working with a team to improve sustainable non-motorized recreation opportunities on State Trust Lands and Natural Resource Conservation Areas? Are you passionate about conservation and protecting our state-managed natural areas? If you love working a physically active job in an outdoor setting and are passionate about directly supporting the facilities, trails, and events that take place on DNR lands in the busy and scenic Snoqualmie Corridor; the Education and Enforcement Warden position might be a great fit for you! The State Forests and Natural Areas located in the DNR’s Snoqualmie Unit offer ample opportunities for multi-use recreation and are maintained and operated by a small and dedicated team of outdoor recreation professionals.
