The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) State Operated Living Alternatives (SOLA) has an opportunity for you to significantly impact the lives of people with intellectual or developmental disabilities who are provided supported living services in residential settings. We are looking a Program Administrator to lead our Kent SOLA program.
As SOLA Program Administrator, you will support and direct managers who oversee the daily operations of eight locations and who supervise 85 people working in direct care roles from Attendant Counselor to Psychology Associate at these 24/7 locations. In this leadership role, you will manage the services of your assigned program following regulatory requirements and within the allotted operating budget. You will also respond to client-specific situations, which can occur outside of regularly scheduled hours. This can involve helping over the phone or on-site and directing communication to regional leadership.
We offer partial telework for this job where at least 4 days work will be performed on-site, while other days may include remote work. King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use.

Some of what you will do.
- Plan, staff, direct, and manage the activities of the 24-hour residential services.
- Develop, implement, and oversee health programs used to support people receiving services.
- Collaborate with a variety of client partners to ensure successful transitions occur for people referred to the program.
- Oversee clients with diverse intensive service needs, supply client-specific support, manage client living facility transitions.
- Maintain respectful working partnerships within a diverse client population.
- Oversee critical incident processes and reporting.
- Monitor performance of SOLA program by collecting and reporting on performance metric data to ensure that strategic goals are achieved and that program certification requirements are met.
- Obtain, organize, and keep data to support research and investigations.
- Ensure services are delivered within budgetary limits and take part in the development of budgetary decision packages.
- Develop and foster interagency and community relationships that aid in meeting SOLA performance measures of community integration and supply opportunities for activities for SOLA participants.
