Introduction
The Department of Health Services (DHS) , Wisconsin Resource Center (WRC) is recruiting to fill a vacancy for a Corrections Food Service Leader 3 (CFSL3) . This position will be required to work the hours of 9 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM or 4 : 30 AM - 1 : 00 PM and may be required to work additional hours as needed. This position also works weekends and holidays with every 3rd weekend off.
WRC is part of the Division of Care and Treatment Services (DCTS) . WRC is the largest psychiatric facility in the state and is the only secure treatment facility in Wisconsin that specializes in treating individuals with severe mental health conditions referred by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and the community.

Position Summary
As a CFSL3, you will be responsible for training, leading and directing Food Service Leaders in the distribution and service of food and the performance of related sanitation activities within the Food Service area. You will also be responsible for overseeing server line and tray service and ensuring sanitation, safety and security practices are followed.
Salary Information
The starting pay is $23.24 per hour, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. This position is in pay schedule and range 03 / 13.
Job Details
All applicants who may be appointed will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by WRC or medical personnel approved by the facility within 30 days of the start date.
This position has physical requirements which may include but are not limited to lifting up to 50lbs, pushing and pulling loaded food carts, bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, standing, sitting and working on feet for extended periods of time. Applicants may be required to pass a physical evaluation to assess these requirements.
ServSafe certification must be obtained within 12 months of start date.
