Job Summary
The Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall management and strategic direction of the organization. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage various educational programs effectively. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director to ensure that educational goals are met, resources are allocated efficiently, and staff are supported in their professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Manage daily operations of educational programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Educate and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and development.
- Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet program needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance program offerings and improve overall service delivery.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Represent the organization at community events and meetings, building relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Requirements
- High School Diploma pr GED, ECD 101
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, demonstrating the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Strong strategic planning skills with a focus on achieving organizational objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with staff, students, and community members.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management within an educational context is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being capable of making independent decisions when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
