The Project Coordinator is responsible for organizing the Project Management Office’s (PMO) project repositories and managing small to mid-size projects. The Project Coordinator will provide guidance to the business from project initiation to project close, ensuring that the work is completed to agreed standards, on time, and on budget. Projects may include the development and implementation of new software, opening and closing of banking centers, staff relocations, process improvements, technology infrastructure changes, and mergers and acquisitions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage small to mid-size projects, providing guidance to the business throughout approval process, planning, and implementation of bank-approved projects.
2. Support Project Managers with planning and implementation of large bank-approved projects.
3. Develop and maintain program governance, including project plans, communication plans, test plans, training plans, project financials, and Risk, Action, Issue, Decision (RAID) logs to track overall progress, achievement of milestones, and ensure effective resource management.
4. Standardize and manage tools required for project review and approval process.
5. Manage resource assignments for approved projects.
6. Prepare project documentation, including meeting agendas, meeting minutes, gap analysis, Request for Information (RFI) packages, and electronic templates.
7. Support Project Managers with meeting scheduling and attendance tracking.
8. Manage PMO reporting on project issues, risks, and outcomes.
9. Compliance with any and all BSA/AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements set forth by Bank Policy and Procedure, including but not limited to timely completion of assigned training.
SECONDARY DUTIES
1. The Project Coordinator facilitates meetings as needed.
2. The incumbent performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is not responsible for the supervision of staff.
ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The incumbent is in a non-confined office setting in which they are free to move about at will. In the course of performing the duties and responsibilities of this position spends time writing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), sitting, typing on a computer keyboard, and standing, kneeling and reaching.
The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machine, adding machine, computer and related printers.

The incumbent in this position must be able to read documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, multiple tasks with constant interruptions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
These specifications are guidelines based on the minimum experience required to perform the essential functions of the job. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of financial services industry experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. PPM or CAPM certification a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; focus, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Expert interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience in MS SharePoint or Smartsheet a plus.
