The Senior Unified Communications Administrator specializes in Cisco Unified Communications (UC). This role will plan, design, evaluate, modify and maintain complex analog and digital voice, data, and video telecommunications networks, systems and equipment under general supervision. The role participates in disaster discussions and scenario testing to scrutinize recovery methods and look for improvements. This role performs, as needed, physical equipment installation, removal, upgrades, and performance monitoring. This role collaborates with the Information Security Team in the overall secure administration of these systems. This role will assist in developing and implementing architecture strategies to accommodate current and future organizational needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop UC strategies and architecture.
2. Perform assessments to identify UC deficiencies and make recommendations for resolving.
3. Perform root cause analysis and suggest proactive measures to prevent recurring problems.
4. Create and maintain documentation to include, but not limited to, updating and verifying the current as-built UC / Telephony environment documentation.
5. Maintain accurate UC / Telephony environment documentation.
6. Ensure UC / Telephony environment designs follow Stellar Bank’s best practices and industry standards.
7. Provide structured (design and operational) knowledge transfers to internal teams.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams and vendor partners.
9. Compliance with any and all BSA/AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements set forth by Bank Policy and Procedure, including but not limited to timely completion of assigned training.
SECONDARY DUTIES
The position performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is not responsible for the supervision of staff.
ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The incumbent is in a non-confined office setting in which they are free to move about at will. In the course of performing the duties and responsibilities of this position spends time writing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), sitting, typing on a computer keyboard, and standing, kneeling and reaching.
The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machine, adding machine, computer and related printers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree, related work experience, and or equivalent certification(s).
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Visio.
- Candidates should also be interested in pursuing additional certifications: CCNP Unified Communications, and or CCIE.
- 3 years of related network / IP telephone administration and support.
- 3 years of related experience in network environments, including: network engineering (hardware and software), racking and stacking; network security practices; and designing, planning, and implementing LANs and WANs.
- 4 years of related IP telephony design/implementation experience, including:
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
- Cisco Contact Center Express (UCCX).
- Cisco Unity Connection (CUC).
- Cisco Emergency Responder (CER).
- Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUPS).
- An active CCNP Certification or ability to obtain within the first 14 months of employment.
