You will provide the vision and leadership necessary to develop and implement a successful strategy by business and a collaborative plan for driving profitable revenue growth by successful strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for the growth-oriented strategies designed to achieve short- and long-term objectives in a segment that has untapped potential and demonstrates consistent growth in the healthcare industry. You will work with Business Unit Leadership to develop and deliver products and services through channels such as Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASC), clinics, physician offices, with a focus on all STERIS Healthcare entities.
This is a remote based Customer facing position. Candidates can be based anywhere in the US near a major airport.

What you will do as a Director, Channel Partnerships
- Support our Healthcare business by partnering with Healthcare VP/GM and sales leaders on expanding STERIS’s revenue opportunities in the alternate care segment
- Identify, develop, manage and expand strategic relationships with other Healthcare companies to allow STERIS to increase reach/position in the procedural and reprocessing healthcare spaces
- Along with business unit leadership teams, manage and own existing STERIS partnerships
- Align with our ACM channel leaders on opportunities with strategic partners to drive profitable growth for all STERIS Healthcare channels (Procedural, Reprocessing, IMS)
- Evaluate potential strategic partners for STERIS Healthcare based on their specific market strengths globally
- Partner with enterprise-wide sales channels on ASC growth strategies in Healthcare portfolio
- Develops strategies to deploy enterprise-wide resources (ACM team, Healthcare Sales Channels, Project Design Managers, Clinical Education) to the dealer networks to maximize growth in the ASC Customer base
- Serve as the STERIS relationship manager with Strategic Partnerships and other supporting organizations to provide and solidify STERIS market leading positions and drive future growth
- Responsible for developing long term relationships and maintain a favorable image of STERIS Corporation as a Customer-focused leader in infection prevention and surgical support systems
- Influence segment priorities and participate in business planning development and execution
- Share emerging marketplace trends and needs with segment leadership and key matrix partners (ex. Product Marketing, Sales, Distribution, CPO, Manufacturing, etc)
- Provide regular and effective communications to the STERIS Sales Groups, Sr. Executives and all relevant functional areas highlighting Strategic Partnerships
- Plan and present enterprise business reviews that are regularly scheduled with standardized expectations
- Monitor and enforce the compliance expectations of corporate accounts Customers that have committed to in agreements
- Develop, implement, and measure initiatives focused on improving the ASC Customer experience with STERIS
- Attend and promote STERIS at strategic trade shows, conventions, and industry affairs
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 15 years of successful healthcare and medical sales experience
- 3 years of management and/or strategic account experience
- Ability to travel overnight up to 30%
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements
- Other:
- Strong understanding of STERIS product portfolio and specific depth required pertaining to Healthcare STERIS products
- Experience partnering with R&D and Marketing functions
- Ability to lead a team to prospect and identify opportunities with region sales teams as well as Corporate Accounts teams
- Strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving skills in and outside STERIS
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships with all levels of decision makers to include Senior Vice President and C-suite decision makers
- Possess business acumen for strategic thinking and tactical execution as it relates to Customer service, project prioritization, and funnel/territory management
- Must be flexible and perform a variety of complicated tasks with accuracy and efficiency

Salary : $114,500 - $171,675
