Title : Process Engineer

Location : near the Buffalo, NY area

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Salary Range : $95k-$130k

Job Summary : The Lead Engineer oversees engineering design outputs for projects and proposals, ensuring technical scope, compliance, and quality. Responsibilities include leading engineers, managing design processes, interfacing with customers, and ensuring procedure adherence.

Responsibilities :

• Safety & Compliance : Ensure plant designs are safe, environmentally sound, and comply with regulations (e.g., EU Machinery Directive). Conduct required reviews and risk assessments.
• Project Execution : Manage engineering execution, schedules, and resource allocation. Balance cost, timeline, and quality.
• Design Oversight : Ensure designs align with regulations, customer requirements, and standards. Maintain design consistency and documentation : support supply chain and installation teams.
• Communication & Collaboration : Represent engineering in customer and internal meetings, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely issue resolution.
• Technical Leadership : Act as a subject matter expert, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
