Sterling Engineering's 20 year client, a leading manufacturer of US made custom thermal components is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join their organization. This is a stable company whom has been a leader in their market for over 50 years with a diverse book of business in all industries setting them up for stability and growth.
Responsibilities :
Plan, schedule, and manage all maintenance activities for equipment and systems.Supervise and support the maintenance team, and coordinate tasks with external contractors.Develop and conduct ongoing training for maintenance staff to enhance skills and safety.Oversee and improve the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to maintain ISO certification.Create and manage a comprehensive maintenance inventory and parts system.Maintain detailed machine and facility operator / service manuals.Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA LOTO and NFPA 70E.Lead and coordinate machinery installations, plant relocations, and equipment / system moves.Oversee building systems such as electrical, pneumatic, communication, water, and HVAC.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical field required.10 years’ overall experience in maintenance, planning, or facilities engineering.5 years of management experience in an industrial maintenance environment.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.Solid understanding of industrial electrical distribution systemsQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
