Job Summary:
- We're seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator to ensure a safe and compliant work environment at our food manufacturing facility. You'll play a key role in developing and implementing safety programs, conducting safety audits, and investigating incidents.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement safety programs (e.g., lockout/tagout, machine guarding, ladder safety).
- Conduct safety inspections and audits.
- Investigate accidents and near misses.
- Train employees on safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain safety records and prepare reports.
- Promote a strong safety culture.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of safety experience in a food manufacturing environment (cooler environment preferred).
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and OSHA standards.
- Experience with lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and other critical safety areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
