We’re partnering with a well-established client in Elkhart, IN & Fort Wayne, IN , seeking an Automation Engineer to drive automated process improvements in manufacturing and production. Relocation packages are available , but candidates must be willing to be based at one of the two locations.
Location : Elkhart, IN (or Fort Wayne, IN)
Hire Type : Direct Hire
Salary : Up to $135K

Relocation : Available (must sit at either Elkhart or Fort Wayne location)
Key Responsibilities :
- Process Analysis : Evaluate and identify opportunities to enhance automation in manufacturing workflows.
- System Design & Implementation : Develop and integrate automated systems, including robotics and process control technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, operations, and IT teams to drive automation strategies.
- Feasibility Studies : Assess the cost-benefit and impact of automation projects.
- Documentation & Compliance : Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and best practices.
- Performance Monitoring : Track KPIs, optimize system performance, and adjust automation processes as needed.
- Training & Support : Educate and support teams in adopting new automation technologies.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement ongoing process enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
