Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our family owned and operated accounting firm in Canton, MA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting day to day office operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional administrative support. This position requires strong time management skills, proficiency in various office software, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
- Manage office communications, including answering phones, responding to emails and greeting clients.
- Perform office management duties such as scheduling appointments, organizing files, scanning/copying and more.
- Provide assistance to staff as requested.
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the office environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Prior experience in a tax office setting is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with data entry processes and office management practices is essential.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to utilize various software applications efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team .
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
