The School District of Amery is now accepting applications for an Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Amery High School. The Assistant Principal/Athletic Director is a district leader with several important roles. As the Assistant Principal, this person will work closely with the High School Principal on the climate and culture of Amery High School. They will be in charge of tracking daily attendance and related parent communication, minor discipline referrals, ACT Assessment coordination, and some teacher evaluations, with the expectation to be a strong, positive leader in the building. As the Athletic Director, this person will be responsible for overseeing all grade 6-12 athletics that fall under the district's umbrella.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Principalship, Educational leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or related area.
- Currently hold or eligible to hold a Wisconsin DPI certification as a Principal.
- Minimum five years of successful experience serving as an educator. High School and leadership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with WI DPI Educator Effectiveness System.
- Leadership ability to supervise staff.
