Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator

SteveTay Paving & Sealing Inc. is looking for an operator to join our team. The ideal person will have experience in various aspects within paving operations from site preparation, paving and finishing work. Our work mainly consists of residential driveways and parking lots around the Central New York area.

Responsibilities:

• Operate asphalt paving equipment such as LeeBoy pavers, multi-ton rollers and BobCat Skid steers.
• Ability to work with crew members working as a team and following directions.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Drive commercial vehicles and trailers to job sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating paving equipment is REQUIRED. Must have experience with at least one (pavers, rollers, skid steer).
• Prior experience in site prep work with skid-steers preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and have physical stamina and capability to perform manual labor as required by the job demands.
• Strong communication.
• Reliable transportation and valid Drivers license.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
