Job Overview
Stewart's Shops is a leading convenience store business in New York and southern Vermont, operating over 350 locations. Our 'Food to Go' program has been growing rapidly, offering fresh food options prepared in-store and produced in our central kitchen. To support this growth, we are seeking Regional Food Service Coordinators.
The ideal candidate will possess food service experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to teach and train others. They will be responsible for training shop personnel on food service standards, performing food safety inspections, and scheduling product installations. Additionally, they will assist with remodels, rebuilds, and new shop set-ups, as well as provide NYS Agriculture & Markets inspections support and teach seminars.
This role requires a reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated individual with valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Travel may be required to various counties and areas. The schedule includes full-time work with flexible hours, including mornings, nights, and weekends. Starting pay is $21/hour, with opportunities for pay increases based on experience.
