The Salesforce Team lead will be responsible for leading a team of Salesforce administrators and developers, overseeing the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce administrators and developers, assigning tasks, providing performance feedback, and fostering professional development.
- Manage team workload, prioritize projects, and ensure timely delivery of Salesforce solutions.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and best practices.
Technical Leadership:
Design and architect Salesforce solutions based on business requirements, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and automation rules.
- Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce customizations and integrations with other systems.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases and best practices to implement new features and functionalities effectively.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and translate them into functional Salesforce requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing Salesforce configurations and identify areas for improvement.
Project Management:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for Salesforce implementations and upgrades.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project deadlines.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Manage data quality within Salesforce, including data cleansing, deduplication, and validation processes.
- Create custom reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights for business decision-making.
System Administration:
- Manage user profiles, roles, and security settings within Salesforce.
- Monitor Salesforce performance, troubleshoot issues, and address system-related challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding of Salesforce platform features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom development capabilities.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, provide effective coaching and mentorship.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, Apex coding, and data management tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Project Management Skills: Proven track record of managing Salesforce projects on time and within budget.
Expert knowledge of Salesforce products such as Salesforce CRM/Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud etc.
Expert knowledge of all the Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration capabilities, including Apex, (custom objects, classes, triggers, and web services), visual force pages, reports, and workflow rules, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, SOSL.
Ability to Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems using web-based API technologies and middleware tools like MuleSoft.
Expertise in Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies like ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Gitlab, and CI/CD Pipelines.
Knowledge of web development (Ajax, JavaScript, SOAP, HTTP, JS Remoting, Angular JS, CSS Bootstrap)
Salesforce Architect certifications (Development Lifecycle and Deployment, Integration Architecture, Data Architecture, and Management)
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, business administration, or related field.
- 10 or more years of experience in analytics and systems development
- Experience in a technology-driven role
