Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving strategic HR initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of human capital management and the ability to lead HR functions effectively.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and provide counsel and support to facility managers and supervisors on employee relations issues to ensure compliance to company policies and governmental regulations.
- Counsel and advise site managers regarding interpretation and compliance of all Title VII discrimination laws, employment laws, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, and ADA.
- Monitor effectiveness and develop strategies with Plant Manager and Legal department to ensure overall compliance.
- Manage the facility’s AAP, corrective/disciplinary actions, and employee complaints in order to maintain an employer friendly environment .
- Develop and implement performance management systems to ensure employee growth and development.
- Manage employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning initiatives to align HR goals with business objectives.
- Administer the Wage, Salary, Training and Benefit programs. Represent the Company by participating in industry surveys to maintain a competitive salary and benefit program necessary to attract and retain qualified employees.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of performance management techniques and employee orientation practices.
- Experience in strategic planning and budgeting within an HR context.
- Familiarity with ADP, SAP and Employee Navigator.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions that impact the workforce positively.
