Accounting Administrative Assistant Role
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Department: Accounting Team
Job Overview:
The Accounting Administrative Assistant works closely with the CFO to oversee and manage various departmental procedures, tasks, and projects. This role requires coordination of administrative activities, data management, meeting planning, and record-keeping.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of Accounting department operations
- Collaborate with the CFO to maintain organized documentation on internal drives
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail related to the Accounting department
- Schedule meetings for the CFO and set up conference rooms for Accounting department meetings
- Maintain accurate records and retrieval systems for the Accounting department
- Arrange travel and accommodations for the CFO as needed
- Edit and modify documents using Microsoft Office or similar software
- Perform general clerical duties, including bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing, filing, and correspondence
- Ensure confidentiality in all aspects of the job performance
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or higher, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
