Now Hiring: Event Manager for Stone Garden
Location: Westmoreland, NH
Start Date: Mid-April 2025
Position Duration: Weekly until Early November 2025
Schedule: Thursday - Monday (varies by event schedule)
- Thursday: 4-6 hours
- Friday: 4-6 hours
- Saturday: ~10 hours
- Sunday: ~4 hours
- Some weekends may require additional hours for multiple events
- Time Off: Available in July 2025
- Pay: $25-$35 per hour
Stone Garden, a premier wedding venue in Westmoreland, NH, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Event Manager to oversee wedding and event operations for the 2025 season. This position is ideal for someone with hospitality experience who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys providing exceptional guest experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee event setup and breakdown according to planner specifications
- Collaborate with event planners to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction
- Provide crisis management for any venue- or event-related issues
- Maintain venue rentals and equipment
- Support external event professionals for successful operations
- Manage Stone Garden bar staff and bussers
- Oversee bar inventory, stocking, shopping, and specialty cocktail preparation
- Ensure overall bar maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance with venue standards and state laws
- Act as a representative of Stone Garden when interacting with guests
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or event management
- Management-level experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine is a plus
- Comfortable working outdoors in all elements
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform hands-on tasks
- Strong leadership skills with experience fostering team morale
- Positive, "can-do" attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided for errands)
