Meat Wrapper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meat Wrapper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meat products are properly packaged, labeled, and presented to customers. This position requires a strong emphasis on food safety and customer service, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, package, and label meat products according to company standards and food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department area, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Assist customers with their inquiries regarding meat products, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the department.
• Perform inventory checks and assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries and restocking shelves as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is a plus but not required.
