The Finance Analyst III will be the brand liaison and project manager with ADUSA Finance and will engage with the Finance workstreams for Planning and Management Reporting to ensure Stop & Shop awareness of workstream status and solicit active Stop & Shop participation in project development and testing as appropriate
What we ask of you :
Planning :Collaboratively engage other brands to understand parallel planning & forecasting processesWork internally with Stop & Shop finance to holistically understand current planning process, evaluate feasibility to implement planning & forecasting process within BPCDetermine compatibility with current planning process to leverage BPC tools to streamline allocation process to department / store levelManage the project plan to transition budget, plan & forecasting process within BPC for Sales, Margin & OpExBring forward planning initiatives to Stop & Shop Finance for considerationManagement Reporting :Collaboratively engage workstream leadership to understand FIRE business cases and determine application to Stop & ShopBring forward Management reporting initiatives to Stop & Shop for considerationManage brand user-testing processes and provide feedbackLead change management and communication strategies for implementation of new reportingFinancial support for strategic initiatives & brand scorecardPartner with Non-Perishable Finance Manager to develop and manage strategic initiative matrix tracking tool to identify areas of opportunities and outline next steps to establish corrective actionsSupport IBR (Internal Business Review) process and coordinate input from finance and strategy teams to execute monthly deliverables, actions and improvements in processProvide ad-hoc analytical support and proactively identify, analyze and interpret business performance drivers and opportunitiesManage the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and analysis tools and ensure they capture changes in trends and business environmentManage Category Management Power BI tool to ensure application reflects current metrics which are aligned to business needs; secure data accuracy and integrity and deliver against best-in-class reporting standardsSupport Project Report Rationalization (Pomegranate) to identify and correct duplicative reporting, highlight inconsistencies across departments, and provide recommendations to improve performance and useability (solicit business partner feedback)Partner with Merchandising Planning to ensure alignment on category management key metrics (tracking, education, planning)Support environment of learning and process improvement and provide project management for implementationBuild competency in advanced technical solutions, data management, ADUSA resources and industry advancements to help identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes, techniques, analytical tools and reportingCreate awareness and leverage existing financial systems to develop and implement innovative solutions for executive level reporting tools which aid in the communication of financial results and performance insightsDevelop and own calendar for projects, initiative tracking, and meeting cadence.Facilitate Change Management across the finance team.Preparation of schedules, templates, narratives and facilitation of the process to ensure achievement of deadlines.What you bring to the table :
- 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Data Analytics
- Bachelor's Degree; Master's Preferred - Finance, Accounting or Related Field
- Strong organizational skills as well as project management capabilities
- Advanced communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate across teams while maintaining business partnerships
- Power BI experience preferred
- The ability to be in the office 3 days a week
