Strange’s has a position opening for a part-time Greenhouse Worker in the Houseplant Department at the Short Pump location. This team member is responsible for assisting customers and maintaining product within the Houseplant Department. The essential candidate has extensive houseplant knowledge (home collection of at least 30 plants), exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Scheduling : Candidates must be able to work 3 day shifts between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PM.
- Assists customers and presents them with product information
- Creates product displays with management guidance
- Monitors and maintains safety concerns in the greenhouse
- Receives/processes houseplant product and maintains correctness of product tags
- Investigates and determines what/how/why material came in incorrectly or damaged
- Waters, fertilizes, spaces, and maintains inventory of houseplant department
- Participates in routine cleaning of product and space
