Injection Molding Process Technician Day Shift

Overview
As a Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in machine start-up, shut-down, troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations.

Duties
- Start-up, shut-down, and troubleshooting of injection molding machines.

- Monitor productivity, production, and scrap.

- Respond to manufacturing issues on production floor.

- Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as needed.

- Conduct regular daily inspections of molding machines to identify issues and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and inefficiencies.

- Perform Mold Setter duties as needed.

- Perform Material Handler duties as needed.

- Collaborate with production to improve processes and implement solutions.

- Actively communicate and monitor priorities and results.

- Maintain detailed records of process parameters and production data.

- Support quality inspectors and operators to ensure products comply with internal and external customer standards.

- Assist manufacturing by giving breaks to molding and machine operators.

- Operate Plastic Injection Molding Machines while maintaining quality and productivity.

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift a maximum of 75 lbs. consecutive or multiple times a day during a 12 hr. shift; Able to manipulate tools with both hands. Must be able to stand on feet for 12 hours.

- Minimum of two years relevant experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician.

- Screening Requirements – background check.

- Strong mechanical aptitude.

- Attention to detail and precision in work.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced production environment.

- Ability to analyze data and problem-solve effectively.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and plastic injection molding equipment operation.

- Language Skills: Able to read, write, and communicate in English.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

- Ability to multitask, work well with others in a team environment and independently is essential.

- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
