Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining and installation unique and beautiful landscapes. This role involves overseeing landscape and masonry installations, ensuring high-quality maintenance, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer experience.
We are a woman-owned landscape design and installation company in Silver Spring, MD. We are passionate about native plants, designing unique and artistic landscapes. We design and install gardens, patios, walkways, fencing and more.
Duties
- Supervise daily landscape installation, carpentry and stone masonry installation projects.
- Keep continued communication with staff, designer and owner, while keeping projects organized and efficient.
- Provide encouragement and positive leadership role for landscape crews.
- Work as a team and keep positive interactions with staff.
- Drive truck and organize deliveries of supplies and material.
- Oversee the installation of new landscaping features, including gardens, patios, walkways, fences and more.
- Be the face of the company and have great communication and great customer service with all our clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping with a focus on landscape installation, stone masonry and carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture and plants.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred; demonstrated leadership skills are essential.
- Ability to build effective teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Proficient in operating landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
- Must speak both English and Spanish.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
