SBHS is seeking a career-oriented Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic Inpatient Social Services team. Independent thinkers yet team players make the ideal candidate. EDUCATION/LICENSE REQUIRED: Must possess a Master's Degree in Behavioral Analysis and current BCBA certification.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience working with children and adolescents with developmental delays REQUIRED. Experience working within inpatient psychiatric facilities PREFERRED.
SKILLS: Trained in ABA technics.
The Inpatient BCBA will work with patients age 4-17 who may have neurodevelopmental disorders or may be neurotypical as patient populations vary. Priority qill be given to working with patients with neurodevelopmental disorders when available. When working with neurotypical patients focus will be on patients admitted for aggression or self-injury. May work with individuals 18 or older if they have significant intellectual disability or developmental delays. BCBA will provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy as well as parent training and consultation with peers as needed on behavioral plans.
