Youth Care Specialist (Part-time and Summer)

Requirements:

At least 18 years of age
Valid Driver's License and a Clean Driving Record (no exceptions)
Experience: 2 year minimum working with kids with special needs
Education: HS diploma
Level 2 Background Check

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist youth with all activities of daily living, including those who may have special needs such as Autism.
• Monitor and maintain a safe living environment.
• Assist youth with their transition into a safe living environment.
• Motivate and encourage youth to meet their goals, tailoring support to the unique needs of each individual.

Available Hours:

• Mondays - Fridays 6:00am-9:00am (3 hours)
• Mondays - Sundays 3:00pm - 8:00pm (5 hours)
• Saturdays and Sundays - 8:00am - 4:00pm (8 hours) - Alternating
• Saturdays and Sundays - 12:00am - 8:00am (8 hours)

Summer Hours: June and July Only

• Mondays - Sundays 8:00am - 4:00pm (8 hours) (3-4 shifts a week)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

Work Days:

• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Required)
• Overnight Shift (Required)
• Day Shift (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Jacksonville, FL 32222: Relocate before starting work (Required)
