We are seeking an accomplished and goal-driven Sales Director to lead sales across Northern and Latin Americas with professional experience in the solar photovoltaic and TIC industry. This is a high-impact role, ideal for a strategic sales leader with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, market development, and customer engagement across a diverse region.

Position Overview
The Sales Director Americas oversees all sales operations in the region, including setting and meeting ambitious sales targets, developing sales strategies, and implementing plans that maximize revenues and deliver customer satisfaction. Your efforts will directly contribute to STS’s growth and our presence in the renewable energy markets in Americas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategy and plan for the Americas, aligning with company objectives to drive revenue and growth.
- Maximize sales revenue by meeting and exceeding regional sales targets through effective execution of sales strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, new markets and sectors, collaborating with internal teams to capitalize on emerging business opportunities.
- Lead and develop the sales team, assigning tasks, setting targets, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing ongoing coaching to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Implement strategies to deliver customer acquisition, conversion rates, and retention, ensuring the growth of a strong customer base in the region.
- Foster and manage relationships with key accounts, providing expertise throughout the sales process to encourage repeat business and upsell opportunities.
- Oversee the full order lifecycle, from order placement through to delivery and payment, coordinating with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations and finance teams to ensure alignment and enhance overall customer experience.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
- Over 10 years of extensive experience in renewables, specifically in solar and BESS, including a minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership role within the utility-scale PV and/or BESS, TIC and/or Technical Advisory & Engineering sectors.
- Proven track record in managing sales operations, and strategy deployment with a demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, and lead high-performing teams across the Americas.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, able to foster collaboration, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Skilled in strategic planning, negotiation, and decision-making to achieve organizational goals.
