Senior Project Architect/Project Manager

Studio 1200 is an award-winning architecture and interior design firm located in Short Hills, NJ. We are seeking a senior level Architect with 10 years experience who is well versed in design as well as project management on low-rise new-construction mixed-use buildings.

Responsibilities include:

• Design Leadership: Develop concepts for each phase of the design process starting with Site Layout.
• Project Oversight: Oversee all deliverables from Concept Design through Construction Administration (CA).
• Technical Expertise: Complete zoning analyses and code reviews for new construction projects, manage Land Use Approvals process, oversee design and details through construction documents (CDs), and conduct QA/QC for all deliverables.
• Consultant Coordination: Oversee reviews for constructability with civil, structural, and MEP engineers and other project consultants.
• Team Management: Lead project teams, mentor junior staff, manage project schedules and budgets.
• Client Relations: act as Project Manager and serve as the main Client contact on some projects.
• This is an opportunity to work with a forward-thinking design team that can solve a wide range of design challenges effectively. Candidate must be proficient in Revit and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires you to be in the office 5 days a week.
