We are currently searching to add to our faculty for the 2025-2026 dance year beginning in August and hiring staff for summer intensives and master classes.
About the Role - Dance Educators at Studio J Dance Center will be responsible for providing dance instruction to children in multiple genres, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Acrobatics, and Preschool Curriculums. Additional administrative hours may be available to candidates with experience in social media marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide dance instruction in various genres to students
- Develop and implement lesson plans
- Create and teach performance choreography
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff
- Participate in studio events and performances
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Dance Educator in a studio setting
- Knowledge of various dance styles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels
- Experience in choreography and performance
- Certification or specific training in dance education is a plus
