Job Duties:
- Perform assembly line tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
- Work, alongside a team, to assemble entire products or components of Subaru vehicles.
- Installation of tubing (Hydraulic, fuel, air, cooling), doors and hatches, and electrical systems.
- Rotate through stations for specific production processes.
- Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
- Prepare finished products for shipment to other SIA Sections.
- Know the functions of specific parts being installed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Must be active in Safety, Environmental, and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Initiate, document, and participate in company-wide Kaizen projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1.5 years’ experience in manufacturing assembly.
- Ability to work a 2nd Shift schedule (Generally, 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM).
- Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Must be a self-directed, motivated individual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Manufacturing Certifications.
- Experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience with 5S3D and Kaizen Initiatives.
