Job Description:

As a high-performing charter school, we are looking for talented Art Teachers to join our community. We aim to provide a rigorous, whole-child education to students from all backgrounds. In this role, you will:

• Build a safe and joyful classroom culture that fosters a love for art;
• Engage students in the creative process and foster their talents, deepening their knowledge and understanding of art, design, and art history;
• Collaborate with Art Teachers across the network to build a premier art program;
• Develop a culture of self-expression and utilize inquiry-based teaching and learning approaches;
• Engage in professional developments to accelerate learning and growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Visual, Fine, or Studio Arts (Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, and Ceramics) or Art Education;
• Outstanding academic achievement;
• Art or art education portfolio showcasing skill-set and passion for art and learning;
• Experience with holistic exposures to art and art history;
• Ability to set ambitious goals and high expectations for scholars;
• Embracing collaboration.

Compensation: Starting From $60,000.00
