Job Overview As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will plan, organize, and oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring optimal performance of production machinery, buildings, and equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills, supervisory experience, and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the maintenance team, assigning daily tasks and evaluating performance
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of wire mesh welding line systems in compliance with ASTM-F432 standards
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure machinery uptime and efficiency
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems
Manage emergency repairs and coordinate outside contractors as needed
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and generate shift reports
Train and mentor maintenance staff to foster a team-oriented work environment
What We're Looking For :
High School Diploma / GED required ( BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred)
Minimum 5 years' experience in machine setup, repair, and calibration (wire mesh welding systems a plus)
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of PLC-based systems, robotics, and automated machinery is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and fabricating skills with experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays when required
