POSITION TITLE : Civil Engineering Project Manager
SB&O, Inc. is a mid-size civil engineering, land planning and land surveying firm established
in 1967, with offices in San Diego and Temecula. We provide a full service approach to our
clients, working on a variety of project types in both the public and private sectors. We are
actively seeking an experienced, motivated individual to serve as a Civil Engineering Project
Manager in our San Diego office.
This position includes salary with an outstanding benefits package, plus

Candidate will be an experienced California Registered Civil Engineer, with 7 years or more
of engineering experience, of which at least 2 years has been spent in responsible charge of
project design management. A project engineer will be expected to prepare project
schedules, estimates of engineering effort (contracts, work order confirmations), edit billing
and manage the overall project designs as well as project budgets. This will involve the
application of mature engineering judgement and knowledge of planning and project
management.
Candidate must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, project and
people management skills. Candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD, Land Development
Desktop (LDD) and Microsoft Office; Civil 3D a plus. Current knowledge of local public
agency codes, processes and requirements is very beneficial.
