WAGE RANGE : $21.00-25.00 / hr
TYPE : Full-time, non-exempt

ABOUT THE COMPANY :
Suite Living Senior Care is locally owned and provides Memory Care & Assisted Living specialty senior services in a professionally managed and carefully designed setting. We currently have 18 communities located across the Twin Cities metro area with our Corporate Office located in White Bear Lake, MN. This position will be ON-SITE at our Corporate Office. Some travel to our Twin Cities based communities may be required.

JOB SUMMARY :
The HR Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support the organization's Human Resource operations and management staff. Tasks will include areas of Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Benefits and Payroll. This is a great opprotunity for an entry-level HR professional to gain a variety of experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for posting non-exempt positions for our assisted living sites.
- Assist with recruiting / screening.
- Assist with new hire onboarding and employee record compliance.
- Handles background checks for administrative and management hires.
- Scan and upload HR documents into the HRIS as needed.
- Create and prepare reports for management upon request.
- Manage and ensure our payroll company has activated garnishments, child support info, and other income withholding orders.
- Works with facility management and HR Manager to respond to unemployment and workers compensation claims.
- Complete employment verifications for employees, financial institutions, and government agencies.
- First point of contact for HR dept phone inquiries and mail.
- Quarterly community surveys.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
This position is held ON-SITE at our Corporate Office located in White Bear Lake, MN. We do not offer any remote or hybrid accommodations at this time.
Salary : $21 - $25
