WSSD Summer School Programs Board Certified Behavior Analysis
The Summer School Program is designed for students, ages 5-22, with significant needs. The school program has been designed to include academic instruction, community based instruction and recreational/socialization activities. The program will include weekly academics, social skills training, crafts, community based instruction, field trips, swimming, and ABA strategies used with certain populations. The programs run six hours (8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) per day, four days a week, for five consecutive weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, model, and assist in implementation of behavioral strategies
- Oversee Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and coordinate adult support
Qualifications:
- Proof of licensure in Behavior Analysis
- Experience in modeling and supporting Positive Behavior Support Plans
- Prior experience preferred
- Wallingford-Swarthmore School District employee preferred
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Must be able to commit to all scheduled days
Schedule:
- June 23 – July 24, 2025 (5 weeks), Monday through Thursday
- Up to 6 hours per day (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Secondary; 8:30-2:30 Elementary) per day; as determined by supervisor
- Note: There will be two mandatory orientation meetings prior to the start of the summer one is virtual and the other in person in June.
Salary: $50.00 per hour (up to 96 hours)
