WSSD Summer School Programs Speech and Language Therapist(s)
The Summer School Program is designed for students, ages 5-22, with varied levels of needs. The school program has been designed to include speech and language instruction, as a related service. The program runs six hours (8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) per day, four days a week, for five consecutive weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement speech and language instructional program for students
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Level I or II Speech and Language certificate
- Prior experience preferred
- Wallingford-Swarthmore School District employee preferred
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Schedule:
- Hours, as needed and required
- June 23 through July 24, 2025 (5 weeks); Monday through Thursday
- Up to 6 hours 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., per day - Secondary - 8:30 am-2:30 pm - Elementary
- Note: There will be two mandatory orientation meetings prior to the start of the program, one is virtual and the other in person in June.
Salary: $50.00 per hour
